Feeling so alone today

Hello, I’m new here and have been looking for some support please.  My husband had a colon cancer diagnosis almost 3 years ago.  He had surgery, radiotherapy and unsuccessful attempts with chemo.  He’s had ups and downs but over the last 4 months he’s been experiencing low HB requiring blood transfusions.  Tests have proved inconclusive and the various medics have no idea what’s causing it.  He’s got adhesions around the scar tissue which gives him pain which has gotten worse and worse resulting in him living on pain medication.  He’s currently into a week long stay in hospital because he again was rushed in due to very low HB.  Oncology seems to think lymph nodes are enlarged so he’s having yet another scan to tomorrow.  I’m 71 and have few friends and since our troubles started my one son and his family, who were once very close to, have completely abandoned us and we haven’t heard from them in months.  Not even a Christmas card. All my family have passed and my husband never had children and his remaining brothers live across the other side of the country and are aged and ill themselves. I’m finding it really hard to cope on my own and I’m desperate for support from anyone who can help.

I'm  so sorry to hear about  what you're  going trough.I don't  know  how much it helps, but there is allways  someone  you can talk  to and sometimes  completely  strangers can come closer in darkness  than people  we would expect them to support  us.I just find out 4 days ago cancer decided to have a rent in my breast. I'm  only 43 years old ,fit and healthy. Hearing  the doctors  saying it's name was the least expected  thing in the world. I am still  in shock,I  feel scared and depressed. You're  not alone in the struggle. I'm  sending  you my love and lots of
