Turp is a surgical widening of the urethra prior to radiotherapy, in my case. Anyone know how long it may take for this to heal before the radiological treatment can start? (Not had the TURP yet...)
Hello ZZzz123
A warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although I am so sorry to find you joining us.
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here on the Online community and am in the 5th year of my personal Prostate cancer Journey. I had my TURP operation on 4 November 2022 and started my Radiotherapy treatment on 8 January 2023 with no issues. You can read my entire journey by clicking on my name or avatar.
On the Community we have a dedicated Prostate Cancer group and you can find us by clicking on this link
