Recent breast cancer diagnosis

Diagnosed with Grade II invasive ductal cancer in late November. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsies on 12/12/25. My next appointment in breast clinic is this Friday (09/01/26). I was hoping someone may be able to give me an idea of what I need to ask/what might be discussed. I am, I must admit, terrified of what I may be told.

The community is made up of numerous forums, each for specific cancer types, and I suggest you join the breast cancer forum and then repost your questions there. I'm sure you'll soon receive reassurance as well as answers to your questions.

Hi there I'm guessing thar now you have had you lumpectomy they will be discussing with you your results and next course of treatment being chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy they should have your results by now mine were given to me 4/6 weeks after my tumour was removed.I had 9 chemotherapy rounds before surgery ( to shrink the tumour) 9 rounds of radiation and now I have 14 rounds of chemotherapy 2 of which I've already had hope this helps best of luck for tomorrow!
