Hello, I am new here so just wanted to say hi!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer last October and am now recovering from two surgeries and waiting to find out next steps after further test results.
I am sure this forum will be helpful for me.
Hello Fairydust
A warm welcome to the Online Community although I am so sorry to find you here.
I see you have already joined the breast cancer group - why not introduce yourself there in the "New Here - Say Hello" section. You will be assured of another warm welcome.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Evabit, thanks for your message.
I had a single simple mastectomy and lymph node biopsy, as well as existing implants removed from both sides and then had a second operation to remove hematoma swellings which developed and couldn't drain, so am around 6.5 weeks from the second surgery and 8.5 from the first. I should find out next week if chemotherapy will be beneficial as a preventative of recurrence. It was a bigger procedure than I realised so the healing was longer but I am feeling good now and pleased that this part of the process is done!
I hope that yours is all going as well as it can and that you are feeling OK about it all?
