My name is Daniel, and I’m a local lad from Coventry. I’ve decided to join this community because after nearly 30 years of navigating the medical world, I’ve realized that no one should have to walk this path alone.
I’m reaching out to see if there are any other 'long-term fighters' here. My history has been a bit of a rollercoaster:
1997: My first battle with Leukaemia. I was young and managed to beat it.
2008 – 2012: A very rough four years where I survived three major esophageal varices bleedouts. Each one led to ICU stays and near-death experiences.
2022: I was hit with Kidney Cancer.
I’m here to find connection and maybe some advice from others who have dealt with multiple primaries or long-term recovery. It’s a lot to process, and I’m looking to rebuild my strength and my outlook with people who truly 'get it.'
