Hi, my friend of many years have just been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour - level 4 glioblastoma. He's about to start a 6 week course of chemo & radiotherapy treatment, I'm going to visit him early next month (January) and I want to take some helpful and meaningful gifts but I don't know what. Would you be able to give me advice? I've looked on-line but there is so much contradictory information. I was looking to get sweets - ginger & mint? Is there a particular brand, a soft blanket or clothing, I saw some Bluetooth hats which he could play his music through but I'm conscious he will be having radiotherapy on his head so will it be too sensitive to wear head coverings? I know the most important thing to him is me being there, time spent with him but I would really like to get him a gift that he will be able to use in the coming weeks and months as that may all we have with him - thank you for any advice and suggestions.
