Hi all.
I am struggling a bit.
When I went for my thyroid biopsy results I was told I had cancer and would have an operation in a month to remove half of my thyroid.
I went, in a daze to get my bloods done when a nurse appeared and asked me to go back and see a different consultant who said my notes were badly written and had been mis interpreted and they couldn’t say if it was cancer after all.
As you can imagine this messed with my head a bit
I had the operation just under 2 weeks ago and I thought I’d be nearly back to normal now…. I’m not.
im so very tired and get even more tired very quickly after the most simple of tasks.
I have had a headache pretty much since the operation.
I am feeling my mood dip and am constantly checking the app waiting for my hospital appointment.
just reaching out as I’m so down today x
Hi Mouse7fc51e
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
Sorry to hear about what has happened here, this have I or not is really difficult, I know how long and how many tests my wife went through before they finally pinned down a diagnosis.
I am not at all familiar with thyroid issues, you might like to look at Thyroid cancer forum and perhaps post an introduction there as I am sure there will be people who can share more direct expereince.
<<hugs>>
Steve
