Hi I am new here, my Radiotherapy for Endermetrial cancer started on 4th Nov. I have had 9 sessions and beginning to have side effects. My bowels habits have changed and I find that I'm having bouts of constipation. I take laxido satchet everyday along with a mini enema if I have not opened my bowels before my Radiotherapy session. Lately there has been burning and pain in my back passage and hemorrhoids have formed along with soft squidgy skin in between buttocks, all of this happened in the last 24 hrs.
Has anyone suffered constipation due to Radiotherapy, I always thought it would have the opposite effect

I'm sorry to read about the side effects you're currently experiencing.
As you know the online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you post this message in the womb cancer group, which I can see you've joined, as you'll then connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as you.
