My wife is 50 years old and has uterine carcinosarcoma stage 1a and has just had a hysterectomy. We have another week to wait for the results.
18 months ago she had TNBC and also has the brca1 gene.
The previous chemo and immunotherapy has caused a atrophy of the pancreas so she’s on creon for the rest of her life.
I was looking for any information and anybody that’s had a similar diagnosis.
Thank you.
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
I am Steve, one of the community champions and my expereince of cancer is via my wife who has Leiomyosarcoma.
New to the community is a bit like the welcome mat to our community and from there most people will move on to some of our more specialist groups.
Doing a search on carcinosarcoma I see a number of posts on this in the womb cancer forum though there is also someone who posted in Carers only forum - you might like to check out both of these.
Waiting for results is really hard as you will no doubt remember from the TNBC.
<<hugs>>
Steve
