I was diagnosed yesterday with EFGR Stage 4 lung cancer…upper right lobe tumour, lymph nodes and ‘bits’ in left lung. Feel well, slight breathlessness and cough. I am absolutely terrified. I am starting on Osimertinib tablets and chemo Carboplatin/Pemetrexed very soon, apparently a very recent approved approach...but already scared about what happens when it no longer is effective?? Will something else help me …. I’m so scared about what the future looks like …would appreciate any words of support x
