Hi my husband has stage 4 colorectal cancer with metases to liver and lungs. He wants to go to the Arcadia clinic in Germany for treatment. Has anyone been there? Can you share your experience. Did it work.+
So sorry your husband is so ill. It's hard for you both.
Did it work.+
It's like a health spa so it might make your husband feel better but it won't cure him. It's hugely expensive. I think a four week stay can cost €30,000 and that's just for him.

Thanks for your reply. Have you been or know anyone who has. He is pinning his hopes on it. He has refused chemotherapy and they are offering low grade chemotherapy and other treatments. He is convinced it will work.. I am so sceptical. He is being encouraged by his family who all believe in alternative medicine. Thanks so much for your reply.
I think you are right to be sceptical. I’ve seen a couple of less than flattering reviews online, and no evidence that anyone has been cured of cancer by the treatments here. Their “blurb” says they help people, but doesn’t fully explain how. It appears they only take 10 patients at a time, and they don’t produce any statistics, so it will be difficult for you to gather much information. I think if people were being cured of cancer by treatments here, the clinic would be publishing peer reviewed results to say so.
As Dani has said, it’s more akin to a health spa which might make someone feel good with Reiki and singing bowl massages, but there’s zero evidence it can cure metastatic cancer. It will, however, cost a fortune. Unfortunately I think you might find it difficult to connect with someone on the forum who has been there themselves.
If your husband is intent on going, there will be the issue of insurance to consider too, as he would be travelling abroad for treatment, not a simple holiday.
I can understand wanting to explore every option in a stage 4 situation, and I’m sorry this is the reality for you.
Sarah xx
Thank you so much for your reply. This is exactly what I thought. He is not listening as he is so desperate. I can't get through to him. It's so hard for me. I cried all weekend but feel I am not allowed to show how I feel as he thinks I don't support him. It's an impossible situation.
