Hi, Fantastic service so far from my doctor and Hospital. Sent an app request to my doctors for an appointment on Tuesday of last week at 7am and by 9am on the same day I had an appointment for 10am that day. Referred to hospital that day for a tummy scan and vaginal scan and by 5pm that day I received a phone call to attend an appointment the following day (Wednesday)at 4.30pm. Attended that scan at 4.30pm and at 6pm the same day my doctor called to say the scans had come back abnormal and that the lining of my womb was thicker than it should be (10.2mm) and she was doing an urgent 2 week appointment to rule out cancer and sent me some links through to read (C The Signs). On Saturday morning I received a hospital appointment to see a consultant at the hospital for the 8th October. What a service!
My symptoms are bleeding post menopause (on HRT), nausea, lower tummy pain.
The scan results say The endometrium was difficult to see however appears thickened and heterogeneous in echotexture. Endometrial thickness = 10.2mm
Feeling a little bit overwhelmed at the moment! Not slept much last night as fearing the worst.
