Hi
i have been here before due to breast cancer diagnosis 12 months ago. Now back again as I am on the endometrial cancer pathway. Age 55 post menopause at least 5 years.
Symptoms are one pink spotting incident 10 days ago and discharge for couple of months and some pelvic discomfort (i was ignoring). I wasn’t going to do anything unless I had another spot incident but then I read one is enough to seek advice.
i am taking tamoxifen for 3 months and was on hrt before that. I had an ultrasound yesterday and my endometrium is 7mm. 4mm is the cut off so its classed as thicker than it should be. Waiting for an appointment for hysteroscopy and biopsy in couple of weeks. Can’t help being concerned as i tick a lot of risk factors. I am really interested in other people’s experiences of this pathway/symptoms/cancer or not. Thank you
Hi Ginger Jayne
I'm sorry to read that you've had to return to this community as you're being investigated for endometrial cancer.
As you know, the online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the womb cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as you're being investigate for.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
