Hi all,I'm new to this sort of thing, but I'm struggling with seeing my dear mum struggling with her treatment.
She started chemo & immunotherapy for cholangiocarcinoma, being type 2 diabetes its taken a toll on her. I visit her at least twice a day she lives just 20 doors away from me,she's so weak got no strength in her legs, probably due to fluid retention & large abdomen. I fear she has ascites & got to get the ball rolling to see if she can paracentisis. She has her last "big/long" treatment on the 18th Sept & ct scan on the 22nd, & follow up with oncologist on 17th Oct. I'm wondering if they will do this after the scan if at all. She is 82 very independent proud & gracious. Mum is my idol,I'd do anything for her.
