Hi there
I am scheduled for the debulking surgery next week
I a stressed about it and the consequent treatments
Hi Placebo9251fa and welcome to MacMillan and the community.
I had a different type of extensive surgery for gynaecological cancer, so can understand the worries you may have about your upcoming surgery.
I’d like to suggest that you join the Ovarian Cancer Group where you can connect with others who have been through the debulking surgery and who will also have the clear cell variant of Ovarian Cancer you have. This is the link
If you click the link, you will be taken directly to the group, where you can join in the same way you have joined this group and make a post there to introduce yourself.
What I would also suggest is taking things a days at a time rather than thinking ahead to whatever lies beyond your surgery. I found it more helpful myself to do this and deal with one thing, one appointment at a time before getting ahead of myself.
If you need any further help, please do ask, and if you feel that it would benefit you to chat with a nurse or someone else on the support line, please do give them a call-the number is in my signature. I wish you well with your surgery next week.
Sarah xx
