Hi Everybody , I am new here and flying in the dark with my husbands recent diagnosis.

In April this year my husband was admitted into hospital and diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma , which is Distal bile duct cancer. He was to have a Whipple procedure but unfortunately the tumour could not be surgically removed , the surgeons did try for over 4 hours until they made the decision it was dangerous to proceed.

At first chemotherapy and radiotherapy was on the cards , he was told to wait 6 weeks post surgery before he can speak to an Oncologist.

Currently my husband is in hospital for the 7th time with high infection markers , and his ward consultant explained to him that chemo and radio are no longer an option.

Are there any other treatments he would be applicable for?  Has anyone else experienced these issues?

My head is all over the place , We have never dealt with this awful disease before. I am unsure what questions to ask as my brain just feels scrambled. We don't even have any support . I wouldn't know where to begin by asking for help.  I would appreciate any advice

Many Thanks
