Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, had a mole biopsied last week for a suspected melanoma, I was a bit concerned as they dropped my sample on the floor.
What I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and whether it effected the results. Got my results appointment in 6 weeks time. If the results come back as inconclusive does anyone know what happens after this result.
Hi Shazna and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I was diagnosed with melanoma nearly 9 years ago now.
The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join us over in the melanoma group as you'll then connect directly with others who may have had something similar happen to them when their mole was removed.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
