One month ago I finished radiation for early stage breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy then 5 radiation treatments. I assumed it would be easy because it was so few radiation treatments but I am dealing with dreadful fatigue. Today I called the nurse and she was very dismissive. She told me that fatigue should be over by now and didn’t seem to care that I’m struggling.
Has anyone else dealt with fatigue after only 5 treatments that has persisted after one month? Or am I just not trying hard enough?

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I had radiotherapy for breast cancer but fortunately didn't suffer with fatigue.

Macmillan has information on cancer related fatigue including ways to manage it which you might find useful.
