Hi all. I been diagnosed with precancerous cells in my left breast, am waiting for surgery to remove them. I know my results could have been a lot worse, but don’t know have I feel. My hubby says I shouldn’t worry as much as I am, but my mum and brother both died from cancer.
Hi PollyP65 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I was diagnosed with a mixture of pre-cancerous cells as well as a tiny lump a few years ago.
The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the breast cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who have had a pre-cancerous diagnosis.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
There really is no right or wrong way to feel when you've been diagnosed so you might find this information from Macmillan on how cancer might make you feel helpful to have a look through.
Sending virtual ((hugs))
