Probably a dumb question

Hi brains trust,  I’m fairly new here and am grateful for this website and forum. My question is that when I search for something, the results are often someone’s replies to a thread that already exists. But I can never find the start of the thread, the opening post. I’m using my phone and maybe that’s why, but it’s a bit frustrating and if anyone can give me a tip I’d be very grateful.

  • Good Morning

Not a dumb question at all - I am 69 and struggle with technology all the time!!

So you find a post that answers your question via the search function. Once you click on that post and the system takes you there to get to the start of the thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There you should find a set of page numbers, at the left hand side of the page numbers will be two black arrows pointing left. Click on these and bingo, it should take you to the opening page of the thread.

I hope this helps. I did check it works on my I-phone.

    Best wishes - Brian.
