I’m not really sure how this works tbh. I’m just looking for some answers and when I googled it was sending me into a whole world of panic. My dad’s just been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes ribs and hips and I’m not sure what any of this means. I don’t really have any information. And I’m worried sick.
Hi Mmmmmmmm, and a very warm welcome to the forum, though I'm so sorry you have to be here, I too have prostate cancer, with lymph and bone mets, diagnosed over 3 years ago, my friend is perfectly nomal to be frightened and worried, getting a cancer diagnosis does this to everyone, and the not knowing is the worst, but please don't Google, they are full of old reports by treatments that have moved on so much since, and tend to catastrophise everything.
Can I suggest you join the prostate cancer forum, you will find many wonderful guys and girls on there, many of whom are in a similar position to your dad, who will be happy to share their experiences and knowledge as well as supporting you through this difficult time, as I said earlier I've been on my journey over 3 years and hope for a few more, and their are guys on the forum who are still here much longer than that. So please put your question to the lovely folk on the prostate forum and they can help you, like they've helped so many others,
Eddie xx
