A bit of a long story but I’ll keep it short as I have posted here a few month back. On the 11th March I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma metastasis in my inaugural lymph nodes, I was currently under Haematology at the time for suspected blood cancer. My consultant from there was advised to send me to gynaecology and colorectal to look for the primary cancer. Fast forward two months and I’ve been seen at four different departments and by five different consultants and nothing found and as of yesterday I have now been referred to the cancer of the unknown primary team
I feel a sense of relief now and hopefully my appointment to be seen will come through soon
Hi Wendi45
That's good that you've finally had a diagnosis but I think you meant to post this is the cancer of unknown primary cancer group where you've posted before. To get straight there, just click on the link I've created.
When you have a minute it, would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
