Hi,sorry not really sure what to write, but found out that my elderly father who lives with us has metastatic liver cancer, threw a ct scan ,the consultant saw leisions and said he could tell what they were but they won’t do a biopsy, because of his age he’s 85 and he won’t be having chemo or radiotherapy ,as they said let him live out whatever time he has the best he can, this has left us very confused as we don’t really no what we’re left with,ie how best to help as myself and husband are his carers ,we also have 3 young children living at home, how best do we help him as he’s now struggling to get out of bed ,he physically cannot get his legs out or in by himself or go to the toilet alone as he cannot get up out the bed and within 2 weeks he’s gone completely down hill ,not hardly eating ,just his meal replacement drinks has any one else gone threw this or have any info on this awful illness as we really are all lost and confused right now sorry for the long post
