Appointment with CNS brought forward a week earlier than planned after CT & biopsy results, does this mean it’s bad news?

Original appointment scheduled 15/4 at the point of my discharge letter following cystoscopy following being told suspecting TCC in Ureter tube following bladder cancer and having finished BCG last year. Following Cystoscopy and Biopsies a CT scan was done and case was discussed at MDM, appointment now brought forward - is this bad news?

  • I have been on my cancer journey for coming up to 26 years now and I have had numerous post treatment appointments brought forward.

Some were because there was not so good news… but most were with good news and the appointment was brought forward due to there being space in the schedule.

    Let’s look for good new.

  • So sorry to hear of your journey but wow!! What an inspiration you are!

thank you - am keeping everything crossed for good news although the consultant did already say it’s cancer so I am assuming these tests will just confirm that to be honest Disappointed

  • All the very best…

The Community is actually divided into dedicated Cancer Support Groups (Discussion Rooms)………… so do have a look through this link Cancer Specific Groups you will find all our dedicated cancer support groups listed.

These groups are safe places to talk to others who may have a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support from members who are navigating the exact same journey.
