Hi
I have just been diagnosed with breast cancer. It is small and I have an op date for May to remove it, but still a shock! I have a trip to Ibiza in April which has been planned for months. I have been honest and compliant and told the travel insurance company. But think I have now shot myself in the foot as they will not cover me. I can get refund on the annual insurance, cancel my trip and try and make a claim. Or if I find another company that will cover me. This is proving impossible.
justveondering if anyone has advice on any travel company please?
thank you in anticipation
Hi Har53 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to find travel insurance when a cancer diagnosis is involved so please join us over in the travel insurance forum for cancer patients group to see the recommendations from others who have been successful.
Once you've joined, have a look through the threads there called 'Recommended Travel Insurance' and Recommended travel insurance 2023-24', which you'll find on the first page. They are full of recommendations from other cancer patients who have got travel insurance.
