I've just had a colerectal appointment, where they think I have a mass in back passage. Waiting on colonoscopy, ct scan and mri. Am feeling a bit blasé about it to honest. I'm sure what to think at the moment. I'm quite a practical and pragmatic person. My husband on the other hand is in pieces.
Hi Nora0778
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
I am Steve one of the community champions on here, my experience with cancer being via my wife who has Leiomyosarcoma.
We have a lot of information on bowel cancer here that includes a section around waiting for test results - of course one of the outcomes might even be that it is not bowel cancer - though then the question might be what is it.
You and your husband would both to welcome to join our Bowel (colon and rectal) cancer forum
I know I find the information in your feelings when someone has cancer quite helpful in being able to recognize the emotions and accept them as normal and valid can help make them less overwhelming - I wonder if that might help your husband. He might also like to look at our Family and friends forum and he might also like to see Carers only forum
Fingers crossed your appointments come through soon.
<<hugs>>
Steve
