Just had my first oncology appt. They’re starting me off in Letrozole (which I had first time round in 2016 for 5 years), Ribociclib and denosumab. I’m pleased that it means less visits to hospital and easier to live a normal life. I’m a glass half full kinda gal, but I’m feeling a bit bamboozled as I don’t feel ill. I found a lump in my armpit and scans showed it was breast cancer returned with bone mets in lower spine, pubic bone and clavicle, and a small area of lung. I feel really well and have no bone pain. All feels a bit surreal and but I'm hoping the side effects won’t be too bad. Pleased to have found a support group here.

The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the secondary breast cancer group, which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
