Hiya I am fighting stage 4 ovarian cancer I am a single mum to twin girls who are 14. I have one friend in the world who had breast cancer 21 years ago we have just found out it’s back and she has metastasis on her brain just don’t know how to process this or help her. We have no other family just my friend/
Hi Rachs25 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and I'm sorry to read that your friend has just been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.
The online community is divided into different support groups and I can see that you've already found and joined the supporting someone with incurable cancer, which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others who are supporting a loved one.
When you feel ready you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
You sound like a wonderful friend, thinking about the best way to support her when you have your own diagnosis to deal with.
((hugs))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
