Hi Electra2 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you've been diagnosed with womb cancer and that your partner doesn't want to talk about it. You might find this information from Macmillan on tips for talking to your partner helpful to get a conversation started.
The online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the womb cancer group, which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and any proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Hi thought I was in the right place app says I sm , not sure what to do followed the link sorry.
If you click on the bold green wording 'womb cancer group ' in my first reply to you it will take you to that group which you then need to join.
Once you've joined you can start a post in the group to chat to other women who are dealing with the same type of cancer.
I hope that helps but please get back in touch if you're still having problems.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
