Hi everyone, just navigating this site and my diagnosis of breast cancer. 2 long weeks wait for surgery and bubbling underlying anxiety. This is my first message to get the ball rolling with support and advice.
Hi Joanofarc and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2022 so know how anxious you're probably feeling right now.
The online community is divided into different support groups and I can see you've already joined and posted in the breast cancer group, which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
