Hi. New to the group. Dad had PC in his early 50s so he'd been bugging me to get checked. Glad he did.
Finger test at docs was normal, but PSA a bit high and MRI 'inconclusive' but showed some shadowing.
Literally just got back from having the biopsy done. Not something I'd fancy doing too often! The colonoscopy I had last week was fun in comparison.
Hoping for good result.
Hello Niv
A warm welcome to the Macmillan Online community, although I am so sorry to find you here. I am Brian one of the Community Champions here and in fact I hang around on the Prostate Community as I am in my 4th year of my personal Prostate Cancer journey.
I notice you have joined the Prostate Group. Why not introduce yourself in the "New Here - Say Hello" section of our little Prostate Community - you can either copy and paste or repost this post. I can assure you of a very warm welcome.
I look forward to "meeting" you again in our group - any issues in navigating the community please feel free to message me.
Best wishes - Brian.
