Hi there. As above I am very scared at the moment. Waiting for referral to The Christie in Manchester. Anyone on here had the same type of cancer?

Hi Louie1928, and a warm welcome to the forum though I'm sorry you find yourself here, could I suggest you join, The Head and Neck cancer forum.to find the people you are looking for, I'm sure everyone with a partner diagnosed with cancer understands what you are feeling at this time, it really is the hardest time of every ones cancer journey, and I wish you well on yours

Hi Lindy1818 and a second welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I have been diagnosed with different cancers to you, I know how scared you're probably feeling right now.
The online community is divided into different support groups and below is the link to the head and neck cancer group mentioned by eddiel.
It's a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with the same type of cancer as your husband.
You might also like to join the carers only group where you can share any worries and find emotional help.
To join, just click on the links I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could put something about your husband's diagnosis and tests to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Hi Louie, if you look through Latchbrooks post to you, in green letters is written head and neck cancer forum just click on it to get there, and please if you are having any problems getting on to the forum, let us know. and I'm glad to help my friend, any way I can.
