Secondary bowel cancer

My dad has secondary bowel cancer,  3 tumours, it's spread to his stomach lining, he's had 2 lots of chemo which hasn't touched it, he had a scan and it shows its now spread to his lung, I've noticed he's getting a lot more pain in his stomach area.

He's going to try another lot of different chemo, but there saying to him they will sort out a sr1 form,  so does that mean he hasn't gone long left as that's for someone with short life expectation
