My husband has advanced Prostate cancer after being first diagnosed 12 years ago. Initially in remission it recurred just before Covid. After going through all the treatments, he is now running out of options. Friends and family are great, but beginning to need to talk/ask questions of carers in similar positions. Thank you for accepting me.
Hello Soos
I am Brian, one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan and I am so sorry to read of your husband's problems. I am only 3 years into my own Prostate cancer journey myself.
I have noticed you are a member of some groups on the Community and I would suggest you join us over on the Prostate group where you can meet and chat with Community members in the same or similar situations. Here's a link for you-
Once the page opens up just click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page. Once you have joined our group you can either copy and paste or repost your original post in the "New Here - Say Hello" section.
We are a "decent bunch" and I look forward to "meeting" you again on our group.
If I can do anything else for you please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes - Brian.
