I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in November 24 after testing positive for HPV. My diagnosis is: FIGO stage 2B grade 3 squamous cell carcinoma cervix -p16+ive
I have just started chemo radiation and have just finished my first week. I must admit it’s taken the wind out of my sails! I’m so tired already. This is mostly due to not being able to sleep at night. I have since got something from my GP to help me sleep.
my biggest problem at the moment is that at every radiotherapy session I seem to have too much gas in my bowels. Can anyone please help with this.

Hi Janeil and welcome to the Macmillan community.
Please come and join us in the Cervical Cancer group and we can have a chat there and you can meet other ladies who are going through/have gone through this treatment. I had the same stage diagnosis as you more than 6 years ago and have been through chemoradiation.
If you click the link I’ve made here it will take you right to the group where you can copy your post.
If you need any help navigating anything, let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
Sarah xx
