Hi

I am new to the forum ,feeling a little lost . Had endometrial cancer in 2022 and recently diagnosed with lymph node metastases. I habe had a operation and now waiting to start chemo. The thing is plans keep being made then changed and I feel totally in limbo . I saw this forum and thought may help to just put out there how I feel

  • Hi Rainbow23

My heart goes out to you, it's bad enough waiting for treatment to start without it getting changed, I think the waiting is the worst. There are different forum sections on here for the different cancers if you want or prefer to chat with people who have the same as you. My cancer is different to yours and the people in my section are so supportive of each other. They are there for tips, advice, support on anything even if not cancer related. I have found it really helpful. Sending a big hug. Xx

  • Hi Bungle1

Thank you so much for taking time to reply . I will look at other groups . Fingers crossed I get answers today about treatment dates x

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and I'm sorry to read that you have recently discovered that your endometrial cancer has metastasised.

As Bungle1 said, the online community is divided into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the womb cancer group, which is a great place to connect with others with the same type of cancer to ask questions, share experiences and get support

To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
