Hello, I had my prostate removed on the 16th December, all went well
they have taken the catheter out Friday 27th
Sadly my passing of wee is terrible, soon as I stand up it comes out
How long can it take to gain control ?
I'm trying the pelvic exercises
many thanks
Hello John (friendy)
A warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community, although I am so sorry to find you here.
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here. The Community is divided up into various cancer specific groups and in view of your "issues" I would advise you to join the Prostate Cancer group where you will "meet" Community members on the same or similar pathway to you. To join this group here's the link:-
Once you click on the link and the page opens up, click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page. Once you have joined the group you can introduce yourself by either copying and pasting or reposting your original post in the "New Here - Say Hello" section.
I can assure you that you are not alone with this problem as I have Prostate Cancer myself and you will find plenty of help and support in our friendly group. I look forward to "meeting" you again in our part of the Community.
Best wishes - Brian.
