  • Hi bettey, and welcome to the forum, I am so sorry you have to be here and about your lung cancer diagnosis. I hope your surgery was successful, bettey, recovery after lung cancer surgery, is not black and white, your general health, age, how much lung was removed and whether by open surgery  or VATS, will determine if recovery is weeks  or a few months.

Bettey, could I suggest you join the Lung cancer forum, and ask this, and any other questions you may have, the guys and girls have a wealth of experience and knowledge which they will be happy to share, and help/support you through recovery, but please always ask your medical team about your concerns, my best wishes with your follow up scans, I will have everything crossed for good results, and I know it's late, but happy Christmas.
