Hello everyone
found this forum online as I figured it would be really good to speak to people in similar situations. I have been having on going tests at the doctors due to mild swelling/water retention in my leg, it is always more prevalent in my right leg. So the doctor said they wanted to check a few things to make sure I had no blockages in my lymphatic system. I had a tumour marker test (think it was CEA blood test) this came back ever so slightly above the normal range, but the doctor did mention it could be because I smoke. She then said she wasn’t concerned and just to be completely safe she would send me for an internal pelvic scan and for me to do a FIT. Scan has come back fine however, the first FIT came back at 8.2, which I thought was ok. I then got a phone call 8 weeks later from my doctor asking me to do another one as 8.2 is slightly over the normal limit. I have had the results from the second FIT and that has come back as 82! So I have no been referred on the 2ww and I am terified.How can it change so much in 9 weeks! I did question whether it could be a typo as that seems very coincidental 8.2 -82. I have had no weight loss, no change in bowel habits and no continuous abdominal pain. I already suffer with horrendous health anxiety and have a horrible habit of catastophising. Please help I’m losing my mind. Thank you all
