I am 70 years grandmother. symptoms have been going on vaguely for months. A week ago I was absolutely floored with abdo pain I was actually screaming as stool passed. It was like knives twisting inside me.

This group is a safe place to talk to others with a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support.
I did read in your reply’s that you suggest that you need to go back to your GP surgery……. Please do this ASAP…… and if at any time in the future you are experiencing excessive pain you should go to A&E.
The Macmillan Support Line is open between 8am-8pm (timings may differ across services) 7 days a week on 0808 808 00 00…… this service provides cancer information, practical information, emotional support or just a listening ear.
