I'm new to the group, a couple of weeks ago I found a lump in my breast and thought nothing of it. I've always had lumps that have been cysts.
I thought I best go get it checked to be on the safe side the Doctor has found 2 more lumps after examination with one been under my armpit.
Have had the call and appointment booked for next Tuesday, I have been the clinic before but have awaited a letter a week later for the appointment the following week. Maybe overthinking it but didn't expect a call so soon and to be booked in so quickly.
Now I'm scared, thinking the worst.
Hi Mommyofboys
try not to worry about the speed of the appt's a lot of trusts are able to fast track you onto a 2 week breast clinic referral from your doctor (you must be seen within 2 weeks), I recently found a lump and saw my doctor within 2 hours of ringing for appt and was in the following week having my mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. I have a couple of friends who were also recently seen within a week of going to their doctors and thankfully they were all clear.
I know its difficult not to worry but based on my own experience I just try to take each day as it comes. Sending you hugs and best wishes and that you have a positive outcome x
Thank you,
I was all geared up for.today have kept my mind as occupied as I could and as I was about to leave foe appointment they called to cancel so now back to trying to not overthink till Sunday.
I think I know deep down its nothing to worry about but there's just something niggling away at me if that makes sense.
Hope your OK.
Hey again, have you had your app now? Hoping you got good news x
Hey, I have after it been cancelled several times.
Yeah it was good news I was told there are no lumps there.
How did yours go. I'm hoping all good news for you too x
I’m sorry it was cancelled so many times. Glad it is good news for you. Mine is mixed, they weren’t too concerned about the lumps but want to do surgery to remove the ducts to check why I’m having leaking & test the tissue. X
Ahh I'm sorry to hear that.
I'm keeping everything crossed that it will all be ok for you.
Xx
