I have breast cancer her2-negative with lymph nodes involved. I've had nodes and cancer removed .but I'm not fit for chemotherapy because of kidney disease. Am waiting on oncology to assess for radiotherapy. What happens now .I've also been diagnosed with osteoporosis and taking letrazole. Diagnosed in April surgery in June

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

The online community is divided into different support forums and I can see that you've already found and joined the breast cancer forum which is a great place to ask questions and share experiences with others who have a similar diagnosis to you.

When you feel ready to post there you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Thank you for the welcome I just a bit worried about not being fit for chemotherapy. How this effects my outcome

  • I was able to have chemotherapy after my lumpectomy so don't know how not being able to have it will affect your outcome. However, I'm sure there'll be others in the breast cancer forum who have been in your position and who will be able to share their experiences with you when you post there.
