Hi all, been meaning to join for nearly 2 years. But here I am. Diagnosed with bladder cancer, chemo'd and operated on. Had immunotherapy for 3 months but got peripheral neuropathy so stopped. Have a stoma and now managing ok, despite sensitive skin.

Thought maybe I should join to keep up to date and meet others in same position.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

The online community is divided into different support forums and I can see that you've already joined and posted in the bladder cancer forum which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others who have a similar diagnosis to you.

When you have a minute, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi

You’ve had a couple of replies now in the bladder cancer group, and I’ve provided a link to the stoma support group there too, which I hope you’ll find useful.
