Hi,I'm new to this group and wondered if any one else had experienced facial discomfort after surgery. I had a total thyroidectomy and lymph node resection 6 days ago for Medullary cancer. My face,and in particular nose,feels full of pressure, especially when eating. Is this normal due to swelling,fluid etc,or something I need to deal with. Walking helps, but I can't do it all the time!

Hi Snoopybeagle and a very warm welcome to the Community but sorry to hear about your story to date.
Navigating the cancer journey can be such a stressful and challenging time but getting support from people who have walked the ‘exact same' cancer journey can help a lot. (I have a completely different cancer).
