My husband has advanced prostate cancer and we have been told he has less than 12 months to live. I have autism and am finding it difficult to know how to feel. I love my husband very much but am unable to show any emotions. I worry that I will go into a meltdown once my husband dies.
Hi Cathy22 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read about your husband's prognosis and it must be an incredibly difficult time for you both right now.
The online community is divided into different support forums so I'm going to recommend that you join the supporting someone with incurable cancer forum as you'll then connect directly with others who understand exactly how you're feeling.
To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
Sending ((hugs))
