Hello everyone, good to be here! I'm 12 months post radical prostatectomy, generally recovered well (negligible PSA) but struggling with some of the physical and emotional after effects, getting worse rather than better. Looking for some helpful advice. I'll post up in more detail on the prostate cancer forum.
Hi Rebel49 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I can see that you've already found and joined the prostate cancer group which I'm sure you'll find is a great place to ask questions, share experience and get support.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Hi Rebel49, I am on the prostate cancer forum where many of the guys have had aprostatectomy and many of us had/have the side effects you mentioned. I've just noticed you have joined so I will just say welcome to the forum, and hope to hear from you soon, best wishes
Eddie
