Hi all, I’m new to this group and I would like some help and advice from anyone who has had their tongue cancer return. I originally had surgery for stage 1 tongue cancer in December 2022 and the cancer returned in April 2024. I’ve since had another operation in almost the same place which I have been told the results were only a 3mm margin and they need over 5mm. I can’t believe that 3 weeks later I’ve been told I need another operation and radiotherapy. Has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks Sue

This will be a safe place to talk to others with a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support.
