A family member has just been diagnosed with tonsil cancer. Having having his tonsils removed he will start a gruelling 6 weeks of radiotherapy and chemo. Just wandered if there’s anything I can do to help in the way of a care package to ease/help with the side effects of this treatment.

The online community is divided into different support forums so I'm going to recommend that you join the head and neck cancer forum which is a great place to ask questions and share experiences with others who have a similar diagnosis to your brother. The members there should be able to tell you what helped them while having treatment.

It would be great if you could put something about your brother's diagnosis and proposed treatment to into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
