In 2001 I was diagnosed with breast cancer . Two mastectomies later it returned 6 years ago in my breast bone and lung lining. I have had a variety of hormone treatments but last Autumn I had to start on chemotherapy. This week my husband has had confirmation that he has throat cancer and faces 4-6 weeks of daily radiotherapy . I have taken My own treatment pretty much in my stride but am apprehensive that I won’t have the stamina to cope with running two lots of treatment and provide the support for him. Plus the fears about the future. Knowing it is coming is one thing , facing it is another. Had anyone else been in the same boat or similar who can offer an ear or strategies?
