Breast cancer

Am i waiting to long for follow up 2 weeks ago they told me they were very certain I have breast cancer but still not had the biopsy results to confirm. Received the copy of the letter they sent to GP saying i have a malignant mass 

I had the same experience last Monday. Seen consultant yesterday confirmed biopsy results. Booked in for lumpectomy and removal of some lymph nodes next week. It's all happening quite quickly. 

Give them a phone remind them. I waited 10 days for results 

How long did you wait for biopsy results please, i just need to know what's going to happen next x

Sorry didn't see first reply. We had bank holiday hich hasn't helped

I waited 10 days. At the biopsy appointment they provided me with my next appointment which was yesterday. Had preop today and having op next week 

I know things will happen very quickly when they do tell me, i have a 13yr old son who we need to talk to, i dont want to tell him until we know the plan

Give your cancer nurse a wee ring he/she will be able to assist and chase up next appointment 

I dont even have a cancer nurse

Did you not get information on your nurse at the biopsy appointment. I got all the information contact names and numbers to contact if I had any questions whilst waiting for results. Give them a wee call and enquire who is looking after your care
